1.5 oz Rittenhouse Rye
1 Dash Angostura Bitters
1 Dash Orange Bitters
Splash of Kübler Absinthe
Chill a rocks glass with ice. Discard the ice and then rinse the glass with Absinthe, coating the entire inside. Discard the Absinthe. Set aside.
Add rye and both bitters to a mixing glass.
Shake with ice and pour (ice and all) into the rocks glass.
A twist of lemon might be nice.

1.5 oz Leopold’s Gin
0.5 oz Dry Vermouth
0.5 oz Sweet Vermouth
Dash Angostura Bitters
Dash Orange Bitters
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass
Stir with ice and strain into a coupe
1 oz Bols Genever
0.5 oz Orange Liqueur
0.5 oz Orange Juice
4 Dashes Orange Bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a coupe
Garnish as you like. A cherry is nice.
3 oz Redbreast Whiskey
1 oz Orange Liqueur
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
2-6 Whole Cloves
In a mixing glass, add cloves to Whiskey and let sit for about an hour
When ready, add other ingredients
Shake with large ice and strain into a coupe
Since I’m the person who flips to the last page of the mystery novel, I feel obligated to cut to the chase: Peychaud’s Bitters are out, and Orange Bitters are in.
